Gibson Art Company

Gibson Art Company is based in Cincinnati, Ohio in the U.S.A. They were established in 1895 and are considered to be the third largest publisher of greeting cards in the U.S. today. The cards shown here were all published in the 1910s. I like their Halloween cards especially since they do a good job of capturing the pagan feel of Halloween.

Spooky elves and a witch. A sepia postcard.

Nice fairy postcard

There are many Kewpie postcards published by Gibson. The print quality is very nice. The artist was Rose O’Neill

From a Halloween series with the black cat border. There is another series with witch borders and another with pumpkins
